I just want to thank Sharon and Kevin West for allowing me the opportunity to offer classes and private lessons for the last 3 1/2 years at their wonderful facility at Westinn Kennels. During this time my business has had continued growth at both locations, but I need to stop all the weekly traveling to the Missouri side and teach all my classes and private lessons at Triune Canine Training and Event Center in Wood River, IL.
I am adding additional days and times for both classes and private lessons to help with the demand of my current students and future students.
I am blessed to have such wonderful friends in Sharon and Kevin.
The governor of Illinois is shutting down all non-essential businesses at this time. Therefore, there will be no agility or obedience classes until this is lifted. This includes Saturday’s classes (3/21).
We look forward to seeing you when we are back on a healthy track. Until then, keep yourself and your dogs safe and healthy!
Like so many of you, we have spent the last several days and weeks learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our world. For Triune Canine Training Center, that means understanding how it affects our students and then making the necessary adjustments to our operations.
We have one simple objective that guides us: keeping you safe. With that in mind, we have made several moves in our facility in response to the threat of the coronavirus.
We have amped up our already stellar cleaning services at our facility to make sure hand sanitizer and kleenex are available, sanitizing/cleaning of doorknobs, light switches, poop bag holder flaps, sink faucets, toilet seats/flushers, ring entrance gates, and all agility equipment. Also, for now, we have taken away our community favorites that our dogs love, the cheese balls, and dog treats at each ring. You will need to bring your own for now.
We are closely following the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) guidelines and recommendations on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus. We are following specific instructions and sharing information on the importance of washing their hands and staying home if they feel sick or are returning from an area of the world identified as posing a coronavirus-related risk.
If you don’t feel well, stay home.
We can help you reschedule your appointments and training. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and do all we can to protect you at our facility.
We care about your well being, Joan, Chris and Angela
